Clarissa Nassar has been blogging since 1999 when she started her own company. Her desire to create a business for herself was something she felt was the answer to her lifelong yearning to do something BIG. Although her career started off slowly, in 2006 with the birth of her 2nd child things started to take shape into what is now known as The Posh Parent & Company. Clarissa’s career took another huge leap in 2008 when she uprooted from Southern California to upstate New York with her husband and children. Being a stay at home mom allowed Clarissa time to develop her company into something even greater. She began gaining attention as her handmade blankets were being gifted to celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Tori Spelling, Nicole Richie and Gwen Stefanie to name a few. She decided to blog her journey and little did she know, this blog opened up new and even more wonderful doors to her calling.
Today, Clarissa is a well known blogger and has contributed to several online sites such as MomDot, Due Maternity, Womb to Bloom, Boutique Flair, Aspiring Couture and more.
Her extensive experience in sales & marketing plus her natural poise and effervescent personality have made her a triple threat in the blogosphere. She has worked with top companies such as Medela as a Breastfeeding Maven. Also, as a Glamour Magazine Glambassador for the Upstate New York area. One of her most recent honors was being named Miss April in the Hot Bloggers Calendar for 2011.
Clarissa is currently working as a freelance writer, she is a regular contributor to the 360PR Mom Squad’s Trendletter which goes out to hundreds of marketers quarterly. She’s currently a Brand Ambassador for Glamour Magazine {3 years} and Invisalign as a part of their Mom Advisory Board. Brands she has worked with also include 77kids, Dyson, Keurig, Clorox, Wendy’s, Wal-Mart, REACH, and the list grows! She was also featured in Maria Bailey’s new book entitled Power Moms. Clarissa is also volunteering at her local church as the Youth Director and attending bible college to become a Youth Pastor.
