Everyone’s Not a Fan

There will always, and I mean always, be a group of people who don’t like you. It is a fact of life that we can not change no matter how nice we are.

We learn at a young age that “it doesn’t matter what others think”, and it’s true to a degree. Not everyone will like you, not everyone will like who you are or what you do or what you stand for… it’s OK. When it affects your professional life though, that’s when it gets tricky. For example, being that I am my own brand I have to be very careful how I act and how I respond in public spaces, Facebook included.

Never will I claim to be perfect, know it all, or claim to be an “expert” at anything in life except at being ME. I am a force to be reckoned with, I am artistic in every sense of the word, and most of all I am passionate and driven. These things are all wonderful in their own right, however not everyone gets my heart behind it; the motivation that comes from my genuine desire to please other people and make them happy. Not so much for the sake of them liking me, but for my brand.

It goes without saying that there is some tweaking that can be done… and I will be working on it. I am always in pursuit of the perfect balance of Clarissa and The Posh Parent and finding the place where both can co-exist in harmony and be understood individually and as a brand.
