How fabulous is my life? I know that via Facebook you all get to see some of the events that I get invited to and the celebs that I get to hang with every now and then while promoting brands that I love. Well, this last week was a real treat because although there weren’t any “celebs” at this event, there were some of my favorite style bloggers like Vera Sweeney and Dawn Sandomeno . A lovely lunch at Bagatelle and a Twitter party with prizes galore… it was an afternoon of glam suited for NY Fashion Week for sure.

For this particular event I had to travel to NYC, ugh, the travel.. hee hee My mission before this event was to go to Sears and find a fab outfit to wear to this event with focusing on the trendy brands that Sears carries such as Kardashian Kollection, Bongo and Canyon River Blues. SearsStyle is a newer project for Sears and it features brands for the younger generation as well as a new view for moms like me.

I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Bruno Schiavi who is the lead designer who works with the Kardashian clan.. I of course asked him about Rob Kardashians infamous “business meeting” where he was interested in starting a mens line for the Kardashian Kollection, Bruno said he couldn’t share much about that… darn! Rob has a style all his own and it’s very Cali chic; I’m eager to find out more!

I spent a good 2 hours at Sears perusing the plentiful racks of Clearance as well as Sales that were going on and just tried on EVERYTHING that I loved; leopard print, black anything, fringe, fur… even some pleather stuff. I left with a good stack of stuff to strut into this posh event. At the end, my decision was so ME and so surprisingly affordable.
